MPW Blue squared off against Heathfield and Horam Jaguars in the third and final match of our Divisional Shield Tournament. MPW Blue faced mid-table B team Pevensey Bay Vipers and played to a 1 - 1 draw. Then the Blue travelled to Willingdon to take on Willingdon Whites where MPW walked away victorious with a 9 - 0 win. This set up our final match against Heathfield at home.
It was a scrappy match that wasn't helped by the heat but the Blues rallied and had at least 7 decent chances before Caelan capitalised a on a keeper error to score what was to become the winning goal.
MPW Blue was won their Division and now the Divisional Shield. We would have to say, that it has been a very successful season.
